Case Study

Why are all of these services important

You may be asking yourself,”why are all of these services important?”

Excellent question. Let us show you a real-life case study of two of our clients over a 6 month period. It’s important to note here that both companies started their site from scratch.

A vs B

A vs. B

Company A is a great example of a business that excels in social media engagement and uses social network to create business opportunities for themselves. Company B is an example of a client who does not maximize social engagement and presence for business opportunity.

Measuring their data

Without making this look too much like a lesson in statistics, we just wanted to bring your attention to two things in these graphs. First, note the greater number of significant spikes that Company A has. Second, Company B goes for long periods of time where no traffic is coming to their site at all.

Results at a glance.

There is a great way to summarize the effect that social media engagement has on the traffic to your site, and that is through NEW visitors and RETURNING visitors.

This chart tells us that Company A is creating opportunities for new visitors quite regularly through a number of social media outlets, but more importantly, engaging with their clientele, therefore creating lasting relationships and business connections.

Jack working out the hard way.

Metaphorical “exercise” in social media.

Let’s wrap this up with a little story about Jack. Jack wants to get fit. So he begins by heading to the gym to lift weights. But he didn’t exercise properly, and he will not gain any muscle or lose any weight this way.

Rather than giving up, Jack decides to hire a personal trainer. Once the trainer lays out a program for Jack to follow, there are three possible outcomes to this scenario.

Jack is successful.

Three roads, but only one leads to success.

Jack could decide to only follow the program once a week, but this will not lead to success because he is not consistent. The trainer could forcibly haul Jack to the gym every day, but if Jack puts no effort into it, he will not be successful in this way either.

The only way Jack can truly be successful is if he is both consistent and mentally focused on his goal. This is also true in marketing efforts put forth by businesses and non-profits.
